In detail
Galay ki infection aur tonsils
A sore throat with fever and swollen tonsils is usually viral and settles in a week with warm fluids and salt-water gargles. White patches, high fever and swollen neck glands suggest bacterial tonsillitis that needs antibiotics from a medical doctor. Tonsils that block breathing during sleep, or infect many times a year, may need an ENT surgeon.
Kaan mein dard ka ilaj (ear pain)
Ear pain in children often follows a cold. Do not put oil, garlic or drops in the ear without advice, especially if there is discharge, because the eardrum may have a hole. Persistent pain, discharge or fever needs examination.
Kaan ka behna (ear discharge)
Long-term discharge means a chronic middle-ear infection. Keep water out of the ear while bathing. Untreated, it can damage hearing, so an ENT check and a hearing test are important.
Nakseer (nosebleed)
Sit up, lean slightly forward and pinch the soft part of the nose for ten minutes without letting go. Do not tilt the head back. Heat, dry air and nose picking are the usual causes. Bleeding that does not stop in 20 minutes, or frequent nosebleeds with high blood pressure, needs a hospital.
Naak ki haddi aur polyps
A constantly blocked nose on one or both sides, loss of smell and mouth breathing can come from allergy, a bent septum or polyps. An ENT specialist can see the cause with a simple examination.
Kaan mein awazein (tinnitus)
Ringing or buzzing can follow loud noise, wax, ear infection or age-related hearing loss. A hearing test is the first step.
General advice in line with NHS: tonsillitis.
Go to a hospital first if you have
- Trouble breathing or swallowing
- Ear pain with high fever, or swelling behind the ear
- Sudden loss of hearing
- A hoarse voice that has lasted more than three weeks
These signs need urgent examination and tests. Go to the nearest hospital or call Rescue 1122.

How the consultation works
Treatment starts with a consultation at Babar Homeopathic Clinic. Questions about ear, nose and throat
Can tonsils always be treated without an operation?
Not always. Many children improve with treatment, but tonsils that block breathing or swell very often may need an ENT surgeon. The doctor will advise honestly.
Should I bring earlier prescriptions?
Yes, bring them. Knowing what has already been tried saves time.
Kaan dard mein tel dalna theek hai?
No. If the eardrum has a hole, oil can cause infection. Have the ear examined.
How do I stop a nosebleed?
Lean forward and pinch the soft part of the nose for ten minutes.
Your daily water target
Fluids thin mucus and soothe a sore throat. Work out a daily amount for your weight.
