Homeo Dr Abrar Ahmad is the senior doctor at Babar Homeopathic Clinic. Families from Kangan Pur, Kot Bismillah and the surrounding villages of Tehsil Chunian have consulted him for long-standing stomach, liver, kidney, bladder and joint complaints.

On 9 December 2018 he led a free homeopathic camp at the clinic, where patients were seen without charge. The photographs on this page were taken at that camp.

How he works with patients

Every consultation begins with listening. He asks when the complaint started, what makes it better or worse, what you eat, how you sleep and which medicines you already take. He then prescribes homeopathic medicine for your case and gives diet and routine advice in plain words.

• He asks for reports, such as an ultrasound for kidney stones, before advising.
• He tells you plainly when a complaint needs tests, a specialist or a hospital.
